Divine Drinks

Cocktails and wine are truly one of the best ways to enjoy a classy summer celebration on the Thames. Bateaux prides itself on its diverse selection of Gins and Whiskies, offering one of the biggest ranges. Why not try a delicious Rum Bramble, made with Stolichnaya, British Cassis, Ginger Beer, Blackcurrants, Sugar Syrup and Lime Juice? The Floridita cocktail is the perfect summer treat, made with Don Q Cristal Rum, Peach Purée, Basil, Sugar Syrup and Soda.

If sweet isn’t your style check out Tom’s Ride, one of many cocktail recipes created as a tribute to the Dogget’s Coat and Barge – the oldest rowing race in the world. The cocktail contains a delicious mix of Quiquiriqui Mezcal, Maraschino, Camden Hells Lager, Pineapple Shrub and Lime Juice. Each cocktail on the boating menu is made with the rich history of the races in mind, each with their own fascinating back story. Tom’s Ride is based on Thomas Dogget, an Irish actor who initiated the race, and how he relied on the Thames watermen, the equivalent of the modern taxi driver, to travel from his Chelsea home to his workplace at the Drury Lane Theatre. This drink celebrates a boating legend.

Bateaux London is proud of its focus on sustainable food. We’re driven by food provenance: proud to work with local suppliers and only cooking seasonal produce. Not only does this help reduce our environmental impact, but it also means that your dish will be packed with full, ripe flavour. Our Lamb is sourced from a Dorset farm, and you can see our kitchen aboard your boat; we always know where your food has come from. Alongside our regular menu, we offer a vegetarian alternative, so there’s something for everyone. Our dedicated culinary team update the menu four times per year, in order to offer the best produce and ultimate flavours.
