  • When should I arrive for the river Thames afternoon tea cruise?

    For the afternoon tea service, we recommend arriving between 15:00 and 15:15. There can be a queue to board and we will be setting sail at 15:30 pm. Please leave plenty of time before boarding to collect tickets. 

    For Sunday's Afternoon Tea sail we recommend arriving between 16:00 and 16:15 in order to set sail at 16:30.

  • How long does the Thames cruise afternoon tea last? 

    Our afternoon tea service takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. During this time you will be served a tea experience like no other. Start with tea and coffee before enjoying freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam. Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea as the sights of London unfold around you. 

  • Does the afternoon tea cruise make any stops?

    The afternoon tea cruise will not make any unauthorised stops. The boat will set sail from Embankment pier, sail down the river, before returning to Embankment Pier. 

  • What will I see on the afternoon tea cruise in London?

    Our afternoon tea cruises offer the very best views of London. Helping you escape from the hustle and bustle of busy afternoon London, take in sights of the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, HMS Belfast, Tower of London, Tower Bridge and Westminster Pier. 

  • Does your afternoon tea on the Thames cater to guests with special dietary requirements?

    We’re more than happy to cater for guests with special dietary requirements. This includes guests with gluten-free or vegan diets. Please note that you need to give our chef five (5) days notice of your dietary requirements. Complete the dietary requirements section at the time of booking should you have any allergies.

  • What live entertainment is provided on an afternoon tea cruise?

    All our afternoon tea cruises include a professional pianist playing a variety of classics on a baby Grand Piano.

  • Do you provide commentary on board the afternoon tea cruise?

    We do not provide commentary on board our afternoon tea cruise service. For commentary, please see our lunch cruise service. This service offers a professionally recorded commentary of the views of London.
     

  • Can I go outside between courses?

    Treat yourself to a cocktail, a glass of sparkling wine or a G & T and head to upper decks. Upstairs you can relax with a drink while views of London's most iconic landmarks unfold around you. 

  • Do I have to share a table with other guests like other afternoon tea cruises?
