Offering a menu that is designed to reflect the Berkshire countryside, indulge yourself with scones, mini pastries and selection of sandwiches, as well as an assortment of teas as we pass various famous Windsor sights.
Setting sail from Thames side in the centre of Windsor, our glass-topped Melody vessel will pass various Windsor sights, including Windsor Castle, Windsor Racecourse and Eton College, as well as the town of Windsor itself and other Royal boroughs.

When should I arrive for the Windsor afternoon tea cruise?
For the Windsor afternoon tea service, we recommend arriving between 14:45 pm and 15:00 pm. There can be a queue to board and we will be setting sail at 15:30 pm. Please leave plenty of time before boarding to collect tickets.
How long does the Thames cruise afternoon tea last?
Our Windsor cruise afternoon tea takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. During this time you will be served a tea experience like no other. Start with tea and coffee before enjoying finger sandwiches, pastries and scones with clotted cream and jam while the views of Windsor Castle and Oakley court unfold around you.

Where does the afternoon tea cruise start and finish?
All Bateaux Windsor cruises start and finish at Thames Side. The nearest train station is Windsor & Eton Riverside station and is approximately a 2-minute walk from the pier.
Does the afternoon tea cruise make any stops?
The afternoon tea cruise will not make any unauthorised stops. The boat will set sail from Thames Side, sail down the river, before returning to Thames Side.

The Windsor chef is more than happy to cater the afternoon tea serving for guests with special dietary requirements. This includes guests with gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan diets. Please note that you need to give our chef five (5) days notice of your dietary requirements. Please complete the dietary requirements section at the time of booking should you have any allergies.

While we want our guests to be as comfortable as possible, we ask that guests adhere to a smart casual dress code.
What live entertainment is provided on an afternoon tea cruise?
All our Windsor afternoon tea cruises include a professional pianist playing a variety of classics on a baby Grand Piano.
Can I order alcohol aboard the afternoon tea cruise?
Yes, adults that are in a celebratory mood can pay a little extra to receive a glass of bubbly.
