When should I arrive for the lunch cruise?
For the lunch cruise service, we recommend arriving at 11:30 am. There can be a queue to board and we will be setting sail at 12:00 noon. Please leave plenty of time before boarding to collect tickets.
How long does the lunch cruise last?
Our Windsor lunch cruise takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. During this time you will be served a three-course meal and tea or coffee while the professional commentary describes the beauty of the Berkshire countryside around you.
Where does the lunch cruise start and finish?
All Bateaux Windsor cruises start and finish at Thames Side in the centre of Windsor. The nearest train station is Windsor & Eton Riverside station and is approximately a 2-minute walk from the pier.
What’s included in your lunch service?
The Windsor lunch service includes a three-course set menu consisting of a starter, main and dessert, plus an assorted range of fairtrade coffee or tea. Enjoy a lunch inspired by the town of Windsor itself as the Royal sights of Windsor Castle, Eton College and Windsor Racecourse surround you.
Does the lunch cruise make any stops?
The Windsor lunch cruise sets off from Thames Side, sails through the town of Windsor and the surrounding Royals boroughs, before returning to Thames Side. You cannot get off at any unauthorised stops.
What will I see on the lunch cruise in Windsor?
Our lunch cruises take in the best views of the heart of Windsor. Look forward to gazing at spectacular views of Windsor Castle, Windsor Racecourse, Eton College, the town of Windsor itself and other Royal boroughs. All accompanied by a delightful three-course set menu.

Our Windsor chefs are more than happy to cater for a range of particular dietary requirements. Including both gluten-free and vegan diets, please provide our chefs with at least five (5) days notice of your dietary requirements. Please complete the dietary requirements section at the checkout stage of your booking.

Do you provide live band entertainment on board a lunch cruise?
Unfortunately, we do not provide live band entertainment on board our Windsor lunch cruise service. However, you will enjoy a delightful audio commentary that describes the key sights and the Royal history of the Berkshire countryside.
Do I have to share a table with other guests like other lunch cruises?
No, each booking is allocated its own individual table. This allows you to enjoy the lunch cruise at your own pace and chat away as the views of Windsor unfold around you.
